Product Instruction The basket filter is the cream of the crop in filtration, with higher technical requirements than other filters, mainly used in pipelines to process highly viscous liquids within the pipes.

Working Principle

The filter is designed reasonably, easy to use, and the upper cover can be opened to remove the filter mesh for cleaning without leaving any contaminants inside the pipe. The filter mesh uses a mesh size of 40-200 mesh.

Instructions for Use

Before installation, check if the product threads are loose and if any contaminants have been brought into the filter. This product must be installed before the pipeline outlet (i.e., before the pump), and attention should be paid to the flow direction indicator when installing. The filter mesh must be regularly cleaned during use.

Installation and Maintenance

1. The basket filter is generally installed horizontally, with the import and export directions consistent with the arrow direction on the valve body.
2. After the filter has been working for a while, the filter element will have accumulated a certain amount of impurities, which will increase the pressure drop and decrease the flow rate. It is necessary to remove the impurities from the filter core promptly.
3. When cleaning the impurities, pay special attention to the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element, which must not be deformed or damaged. Otherwise, the purity of the filtered medium after reinstallation of the filter will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments may be damaged.
4. If the stainless steel wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it needs to be replaced immediately.
